Owner, Attorney Kevin Camden, is a part of many associations that benefit his community and continues to find new ways to contribute to his profession.
Expanding Legal Knowledge and Support
Kevin Camden is a member of the DuPage County Bar Association (DCBA) Real Estate Section. He is now the chairperson for the 2023-2024 fiscal year. The DCBA provides education, business development, and networking opportunities to legal professionals and citizens of DuPage County, Illinois. It’s designed to benefit its members and community with the highest degree of professionalism. Kevin is proud to be a part of their efforts.
Kevin is also a member of the Illinois State Bar (ISBA) Real Estate Law Section, recently joining their Unauthorized Practice of Law (UPL) task force and Legal Technology Committee. The ISBA is the premier legal association in Illinois. It has more than 28,000 members and helps
Illinois lawyers practice law and promote improvements in the administration of justice. The organization engages in important activities to propose and shape legislation, educate the public, and support the courts. Kevin has two new roles to help the organization in its mission:
• The Illinois State Bar Association UPL task force locates and remedies injuries to the public and the integrity of the legal profession caused by those unauthorized to practice law. As a member, Kevin Camden will help receive, review, investigate, and act on complaints against individuals or entities not authorized or licensed to practice law in Illinois, along with educating legal professionals and the public about the problem and potential solutions.
• On the ISBA Legal Technology committee, Kevin will be helping attorneys implement technology in their law practices through programs and services that automate processes and improve communication between lawyers and clients.
Camden Law, LLC was established in DuPage County, Illinois, in 2007, originally focusing on commercial and residential real estate law. However, due to his clients’ needs, the firm expanded into elder law, estate planning, trust planning, and probate services. It is a small, local
law firm with experienced attorneys offering personal attention to client legal matters. Kevin P. Camden received his law degree from John Marshall Law School in Chicago and has a bachelor’s degree from Northern Illinois University, with honors. He is licensed to practice law in
the State of Illinois and admitted to federal practice in the Northern, Central, and Southern Districts of Illinois, as well as the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals.
Kevin teaches for Northwestern University Center for Public Safety on labor relations, discipline and discharge, recruitment and selection, federal employment law, and internal affairs investigations. He has also taught as an adjunct professor at Benedictine University and
